Requirements
Requirements for Blue (local) Lodge 1. Hold a joint fundraiser for Friends of Scouting * 2. Hold a joint fundraiser for the local unit(s)* 3a.Sponsor a scouting unit or allow a unit to meet at your local Masonic lodge or 3b.Conduct a unit resource survey in the Masonic lodge to provide resources for the units (forms available from scout office) 4a.have at least one active Master Mason serving as a registered adult in a local unit. or 4b. Have at least one active Master Mason serving as a registered member of the District Committee or District Commissioners Staff.
* qualifies for matching fund from the Masonic charities foundation.
Requirements for Scout Units
1. Be a Quality unit (see BSA requirements) 2. Be a Gold Card Unit (see council requirements) 3. Take part in two joint fundraiser's with the local Masonic Lodge.(need not be for Scouting) 4. Have no fewer than 5% of your male leaders be a Master Mason. 5. Have no fewer than 5% of youth be DeMolay, Rainbow, or Jobs Daughters, if available. Otherwise, at least 5%youth earn the religious award for their religious preference. The two may be combined to attain 5% 6.Do two good turns* for or with the masons (must be pre-approved by the Masonic lodge)
* a good turn is just that a good turn. A helpful, needed and meaningful service this doesn't need to be a Major service project although it can be.
One year is allowed to complete the award. The Clock starts when you do. There is a different Rockwell print for each year and a different patch for each year. So it is possable for different groups to be working on different prints or patches depending on their progress to date.
